The HD setting loose powder by Kay beauty is extremely finely milled. The shade Pecan that I picked up has a yellow tint to it, it is like any other universally flattering shade. This powder is light weight and when you dab it with a brush or press it in with a puff blender, it goes on smoothly. No enhancement of texture whatsoever. I was very impressed, when it comes to the lasting function of it, it lasts but I wouldn’t say for long as staying in a humid country and being constantly exposed to sweat and heat, it will slowly wear of but not like in a bad caked up way. You can layer this powder beautifully and it will not cake up. The shade Pecan can fairly suite the dusky skin tones, however if setting your whole face, then go for the right shade. One thing I have come across and seen some YouTube reviews is that, this powder is tricky to apply with a wet sponge, for some reason the sponge doesn’t pick up and so it’s best applied with a brush or a makeup puff. It doesn’t feel heavy when you wear this powder as well. For the price, the quantity you get is only 10gm which is less actually, so that’s a bummer, however it performs well on the skin, so I am not mad at it but you can get other loose powders for lower price. Overall I enjoy using this lovely powder to set in my makeup.
